YOU DROVE 1,000 MILES THIS MONTH. DID YOU WRITE ANY OF IT DOWN?

Uber, Lyft, DoorDash and Instacart show you what you earned. They do not show you what the miles cost, or which app actually leaves you the most per mile. This log does.

The number people buy this for

Profit per mile, per platform. Income minus expenses, divided by miles, for each app side by side. If DoorDash pays more per trip but Instacart keeps more per mile, you will see it.

What's inside

  • Start Here: set your platforms and your mileage rates once.
  • Trip Log: 500 rows. Date, platform, miles, earnings, tips, gas, parking and tolls, phone, car wash. Type it in at the end of a shift.
  • The right rate on every trip: the sheet picks the IRS standard mileage rate by trip date. 72.5 cents for January to June 2026, 76 cents from 1 July 2026 (checked on irs.gov, Oct 2026). Both rates sit on Start Here, so next year is a 10-second change.
  • Standard mileage vs actual expenses: your logged gas, car wash and phone, plus yearly repairs and insurance in one cell, and both profit totals side by side with the better method named.
  • Dashboard: KPI tiles for total miles, earnings, expenses, net profit and profit per mile, plus a breakdown by platform.
  • Tax Set-Aside: how much to put away each quarter, what you have already saved, what is still to save, and the usual due dates.

How it works

Type in the yellow cells. Everything else calculates itself and is locked, so you cannot break a formula by accident.

Good to know

  • Instant digital download. Nothing physical ships.
  • Works in Microsoft Excel and free Google Sheets.
  • One-time purchase. No subscription, no login, no app.
  • Not tax advice. It organizes your numbers; your tax preparer has the final word on which method you use and what you can deduct.
